About the Role
An Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of an organization's daily operations. This position involves overseeing processes, managing teams, and optimizing resources to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and contribute to the overall success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute the organization's IT strategy, identifying opportunities for technological advancement and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture while overseeing recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
IT Operations: Oversee the day-to-day IT operations, including infrastructure management, systems administration, network security, and user support, maintaining high availability and reliability of technology systems.
Innovation and Technology Adoption: Evaluate emerging technologies, assess their potential impact on the organization, and recommend innovative solutions to drive efficiency and competitive advantage.
Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IT projects, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while adhering to quality standards.
Security and Compliance: Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies, policies, and practices to safeguard the organization's data, systems, and networks. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers, negotiate contracts, and oversee procurement processes to ensure cost-effective and reliable technology solutions.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, allocating resources effectively, tracking expenditures, and optimizing spending to achieve maximum ROI.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with department heads and executive leadership to understand their technology needs, provide guidance on IT solutions, and foster cross-functional alignment.
Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans, regularly testing and updating procedures to ensure resilience in the face of potential disruptions.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure IT department performance, track progress, and report on outcomes to senior management.
Change Management: Lead change initiatives related to technology adoption, ensuring smooth transitions and effective user training and support.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred.
Extensive experience of atleast (3 years) in progressively responsible IT leadership roles, with a track record of strategic planning and successful implementation of complex IT projects.
Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, architecture, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
Strong business acumen and the ability to align technology strategies with organizational objectives.
Excellent leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make informed decisions under pressure.
Demonstrated ability to navigate organizational change and lead teams through technological transitions.
Previous experience in developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies and policies.
