Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry standards.
Lead the refinement of business processes, identifying opportunities to streamline operations and eliminate inefficiencies.
Initiate projects to enhance operational efficiency, lead project teams, and bring projects to successful conclusions.
Develop and present management reports that provide actionable insights for informed decision-making.
Revise and improve written manuals and business processes to maintain best practices.
Provide comprehensive training to staff, enhancing their skills in medico-legal assessment and report writing.
Become an expert in the AMA Assessment of Permanent Impairment Guides and provide training to staff.
Master the use of Actionstep practice management software and leverage its capabilities for process optimization.
Utilize Xero accounting software for effective financial management.
Manage a small team of medico-legal professionals, including medical transcriptions, by recruiting, training, and fostering professional development.
Cultivate a results-driven culture that prioritizes productivity, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience in quality assurance and process refinement within the medico-legal or related industry.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and documentation.
Highly organized with the capability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, and successfully complete projects.
Proficiency in software tools such as Action step practice management, Xero accounting and Slack.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
Previous experience with staff training, management, and fostering professional growth.
Familiarity with the AMA Assessment of Permanent Impairment Guides is a strong asset.
A self-motivated and results-driven mindset with the ability to inspire and lead a team.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
High level of proficiency in MS Office Suite.
